In the case

Everything you need. Nothing extra to buy.

  • Starlink Mini with built-in Wi-Fi

One compact unit — the dish and the router are the same box. No separate gear.

  • Kickstand, cables & adapter

Everything to set up in minutes, packed in a padded, weather-ready case.

  • Power (you supply it)

The mains adapter’s in the box for powered sites. Off-grid, bring a 12–48V battery, USB-C power bank (65W+) or power station — it only sips ~20–40W. Batteries aren’t included.

  • Unlimited data on the Starlink Roam plan

Stream, take video calls and back up photos without watching a data meter.

  • Local pickup & a real person

Collect on the Central Coast, and call us if you’re ever stuck.

Setup guide

Online in about five minutes.

No dish alignment, no cabling through walls, no tech skills. Here’s the whole thing, start to finish.

  1. 1

    Check the sky

Open the free Starlink app and use its scanner to find a spot with a clear view up — no branches or roofline overhead.

  2. 2

    Stand it up

Flip out the built-in kickstand and sit the Mini on flat ground, a table or your bonnet. That's the whole 'install'.

  3. 3

    Plug in power

Run it from a 12–48V battery or car socket, a USB-C power bank (65W+), or the mains adapter. It only sips ~20–40W.

  4. 4

    It finds satellites

Give it one to three minutes to boot and lock onto the Starlink network overhead. The app shows you when it's ready.

  5. 5

    Connect your devices

Join the Starlink Wi-Fi with the name and password you set in the app. Phones, laptops, the lot — you're online.

Good to know

Questions from the road.

Where does it actually work?

Anywhere in Australia with a clear view of the sky — it talks to satellites overhead, so it doesn’t need a mobile tower. It even works while you’re driving, up to about 160 km/h. Trees or a roof directly overhead are the only thing that blocks it.

Do I need to bring power?

Yes — you bring the power (batteries aren’t included). The good news is the Mini only uses roughly 20–40 watts, so it’s easy to run: plug into mains at a powered site (the adapter’s in the box), or off-grid from a 12V car socket, a USB-C power bank (65W or more), or a portable power station.

How much data do I get?

Unlimited data on the Starlink Roam plan. Stream, video-call and back up your trip without keeping one eye on a meter.

How fast is it, really?

Typically 80–200 Mbps download and 8–15 Mbps upload, with 25–40 ms latency. That’s comfortable for 4K streaming, video meetings and big photo uploads. Speeds vary with your sky view, the weather and network load.

Is it hard to set up?

Not at all — five steps and you’re online in about five minutes, no tech skills needed. The full walk-through is in the setup guide above, and a quick-start card comes in the case.

Pickup, delivery and the bond?

Pickup from Ourimbah, NSW 2258 is free. We can also arrange delivery or freight at cost. A refundable $300 bond is held against damage or loss and returned once the kit’s back safe and sound.
